SCHOLARSHIP

UPES offer scholarships for undergraduate programs (UG)

SHARE:

UPES does offer scholarships for undergraduate programs (UG), excluding the Global Pathway Program (GPP).

To be eligible for consideration, students must have applied for admission and have taken the 12th CBSE Board/ICSE board or any State Board Exam (mentioned under “COBSE”).

The scholarship criteria must be met for the first year and subsequent renewals if applicable, and scholarships are available for a limited number of seats.

1. Eligibility Criteria:

– All students who have applied for UG programs (except GPP) and have taken the specified board exams are eligible.

– The scholarship is reserved for students who have complied with the defined scholarship criteria.

2. Special Reservations:

– 25 seats are reserved for the wards of Armed forces, including serving and retired personnel from the Paramilitary.

3. Percentage of Tuition Fees:

– The scholarship can cover up to 30% of tuition fees, provided the acceptance fee is deposited within the specified timelines mentioned in the admission offer letter.

4. Program Shifting Conditions:

– The scholarship is applicable only for students who take admission in regular UG/PG programs and not in Global Pathway Programs. If a student shifts from a regular program to a Global Pathway Program, the awarded scholarship will be reversed.

– Conversely, if a student initially enrolls in a Global Pathway Program and later decides to shift to a regular program, the student will not be eligible for the scholarship based on the board merit or entry-level scholarship.

5. Total Number of Scholarships:

– UPES offers up to 2700 scholarships, with a specific provision for all-girl students scoring more than 60% in class 12th to receive scholarships.

6. Merit-Based Allocation:

– Scholarships will be granted in the order of merit, emphasizing academic excellence.

In summary, UPESS provides a structured scholarship program for eligible students pursuing undergraduate programs, with considerations for special reservations and a merit-based allocation process.
