How Can I Get DAAD Schollarship
I just got selected in DAAD and received selection letter 21–2–2020. There is no short cut for DAAD scholarship. I have a CGPA of 3 so I think it matters.

But all of my seniors have similar CGPA and we were going from same institute so only CGPA doesn’t matter. Now come to my proposal. It was 10 pages long with all the key points separately mentioned. My timeline was clear objective were clear and justified with references. most important part is my topic of selection.

My master research is in molecular biology and biotechnology and for Phd I choose a hot topic CRISPR/Cas based gene therapy for Huntington’s disease and cancer therapeutics. So, I think your topic matters a lot, because they don’t want to fund any useless research they want to fund something new and exciting.

Statement of purpose, This is something that make you unique.

I tried to explain exactly what happened to me. There were no lies and no big words. I told them what exactly I want how to get to know the supervisor why DAAD and why I am suitable for this. How I am better than other applicants. I justified it with my publications and my research group.

Now in interview I was just speaking nonstop but relevant. My English is not that much great but still I was trying to give the impression that I am great student and suitable to join DAAD family.

I told them I am not in hurry for just PhD I will wait if I didnt get this year. I told them my future plans and How my research is not just for money How it will affect those people in Germany and in Pakistan.

Last thing I think they also look at your profile too.

I tried to attach as much certificate as I can for the application. Certificates for organizing different social events and sport certificates. Anything that can show competent you are. And keep in touch with your country representors. If you have confusion, ask them through email. They appreciate it so much.
