The best country to work as an architect

I discussed this with a senior architect of mine , under whom i did job.

Acc to his opinion, if we consider different countries then there is a saturation in countries like U.S , Canada, U.K etc in terms of infrastructure development.

They must be good countries to work but not specially the must. On the eastern areas, Singapore , Malaysia etc have reached same saturation due to small area.

European countries like Germany, Italy and France etc are good place for a good architectural experience and jobs, mostly students prefer these countries for higher education in architecture as they provide same at less cost than in the U.S or U.K.

Australia and specially New Zealand have a good scope of infrastructure development and better avenues in architecture.

My personal opinion, about the same is that generally U.S and Canada have good scope of architecture but, generally people prefer to stay there , i.e get a P.R there and specially people from Punjab ( no offenses ) , because it costs too much so and students want a return for the money spent , which obviously can’t be covered after coming back.

In European countries , its good to do masters, but you can’t do job there as you need to learn their specific language to adapt their work environment.

Australia and New Zealand are good options .

I consider Middle east countries like Bahrain, Qatar and Dubai etc good for architectural jobs but they have very strict bonds and rules.

In my opinion India is also one of the best place to work as an architect.India is still a rapidly growing country where still large cities like Mumbai , Delhi etc are expanding giving growth opportunities for satellite towns like Gurgaon,  Mumbai etc. India is a growing country and is rapidly going under infrastructure development so it offers enormous job opportunities, specially in large growing citi
