Artist Profile: Meet Catapot


Known in the music industry as Catapot, Gyau Joshua is a Ghanaian upcoming hip pop/afro pop/hip life artist who has been on the journey to the fore of the music scene for 3 years now.



He leaves in Accra new town and is very young talented, Humble, Loyal, Peaceful, Religious and a Never give up person in life.

He has fought diligently with hardship, as he involves his toil, hustle and all his sweats into his dream, talent and life as a matter of fact.



He used to work with Smoothbeat.

Catapot has released his debut single tagged "Pressure".



He got the inspiration to do music at the age of 12 while in JHS and he used to go to Adom kasahari level to test his strength.





He also wants to complete his SHS education and focus on his music career.



It is his wish to work with any famous artist.

Catapot wishes to be known nationwide with his good works through music and to enhance the youth to pop up with their talents and that they should stay focused on their aspirations and he wants to get an international award such as BET and many more.



According to Catapot, "Yaa pono is the one who let him get an interest in music,and he used to make a remixes to some of his songs, but now there are a lot of artists that he see s as role models such as Kwesi Arthur, Kofi Mole, Sarkodie, Medikal and many more"



Catapot wishes to get his message across the globe and put Ghana on the map through music and wishes to get an international award such as BET and many more.
