Eastern Music Awards 2019 Producer of the year, K. Joe was on the Close Up Show with Kumikasa, and stated in the interview that music is a part of him. He said, "I dream about music when I sleep, literally I eat music."
K. Joe also recounted that, in 2019 the music he produced for various artistes had 19 nominations in the Eastern Music Awards. The songs were of various genres including dancehall, hiphop, afrobeats, gospel among others.
