Multi ferociously singer, songwriter and top notch performer who hails from Suhum in Eastern Region, Benedicta Odeibea Osae identified by the masses as Edicta was born in late 90s by Mr. and Mrs. Osae at Suhum.
She is mastered in various stylistic categories of music like Afro Pop, Dancehall and Hiplife.
Her music talent unfold at a very tender age of 10, her song, which is titled “Talent” is a soothing song that impels the world to accept her talent and embrace the qualities she displays when given the nod.
Against all odds she was able to balance both school work and music, all this with the support from her parents and her musical career management team lead by Mr. Joseph Kojo Okoto Nathaniel known otherwise as K Joe Beatz.
She had her senior high school education at Osino Senior High were she graduated in 2016. Few weeks after her graduation, She shot to prominence in the Regional music scene with a debut single themed “I don’t need you.”
Edicta is presently signed under Massive Music Masters Crew, with her colleague signees like Ladonati and Cashood who have proven to be a derf force to reckon with in their few years of joining the record label.
Some quality songs to her credit includes: Dedeede, Busy body ft DJ Kinino, Time up, Broken Heart, Go down low, Sika etcetera.
She had 2 nominations in the 3rd edition of Eastern Music Awards where she eventually lost to her category contenders.
Edicta today is recognised as Queen Of Afro Dancehall in Eastern Region based on her intriguing stage performances and the quality and the originality of her songs.
